What’s good about it?
I really, really like this serum. It's a 'wet' serum, not greasy or oily at all and thus you literally apply it to the skin and leave it alone. There is no massaging through etc. It's a vitamin serum fortified with niacinamide and copper tripeptide to take on environmental elements and helps prevent the signs of premature ageing. It also contains chia to help plump and hydrate the skin and ferulic acid to help even out skin tone.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) enhances barrier function, while promoting suppleness, elasticity and a firmer appearance in the skin. Copper Peptides combine copper with amino acids, giving a ‘daily protein powder’ to energise and invigorate the complexion. Chia Seed, heavy in omega-3 and 6 essential fatty acids and tocopherols significantly increase skin hydration and help reduce transepidermal moisture loss.
I've been using it both am and pm to heal my skin, which has not taken kindly to the amount of work I've been doing combined with the sudden onset of weather that freezes your face off. Seriously. London is freezing at the moment. In the mornings I'm using it on the skin first and putting a little Zelens Vitamin D on top, followed by moisturiser. In the evenings, I'm generally just repeating those steps but changing up the moisturiser and I'm noticing good results. My skin is more clarified, softer and smoother to the touch, and certainly more hydrated.
What’s not so good about it?
I use it up quickly. But that's my bad, not the product's fault. It's so fine (low viscosity) that I tend to use more than needed to saturate my skin. Unnecessary but satisfying.
Would I purchase/repurchase?
Yes. Already have.
Do you need it?
In all likelihood, unless your skin is perfection, yes.
