Carrot Root Extract and Carrot Seed Oil – Both rich in nutrients that offer a variety of skincare benefits, carrot root extract and carrot seed oil are a rich source of carotenoids, flavonoids, isoflavonoids and vitamin B6: helping to nourish the skin and enhance natural radiance.

Beta-Carotene – Giving this balm its intense yellow hue, beta-carotene is a powerful antioxidant that helps to improve hydration, neutralise free radicals and absorb blue light to help maintain a youthful, even-toned complexion.

How it works

Our ultra-rich and nourishing balm effortlessly dissolves make-up (even heavy eye make-up), sun protection, impurities and daily grime to deliver a deep, sensorial cleanse. Its lipid-rich complex of botanically sourced phytosterols, nourishing oils, squalene and vitamin E help improve barrier support, hydration, firmness and elasticity.

How to use

Use in the AM or PM as a rich, indulgent first and/or second cleanse. Apply to dry skin and massage into the face, taking care over the eye areas. The balm will instantly melt into a sensorial oil upon application. Massage onto face and remove with a damp flannel. Follow with the rest of your routine.

FAQs

What's the difference between The Cream Cleanser, The Gel Cleanser and The Cleansing Balm and which should I choose?

The Cleansing Balm is an oil-based balm suitable for a deep, sensorial first and/or second cleanse. The Cream Cleanser is a conditioning cream cleanser, and The Gel Cleanser is a nourishing gel-to-oil-to-milk cleanser, and both can be used as a first and second cleanse to remove makeup, sun protection and daily impurities.
The Cleansing Balm is ideal as a first cleanse as it is very rich, but can also double up as your second cleanse. In terms of which cleanser is best for you and your skin, this will come down purely to your textural preference. All products are suitable for all skin types.

Does The Cleansing Balm remove eye makeup?

Yes. The Cleansing Balm is oil-based and will remove all makeup. The balm has also been clinically proven to effectively remove all traces of makeup, including heavy eye makeup. We do recommend that you double cleanse, to maximise efficacy.

Is The Cleansing Balm suitable for oily skin?

Yes. The Cleansing Balm has been formulated for all skin types, and has been clinically proven to deeply cleanse and clear pores with regular use.

Is there any difference between the Fragranced and Fragrance-Free versions?

There is no difference in formulation, apart from the inclusion of fragrance. Each product will provide the same skin benefits and perform in the same way. The fragranced Cleansing Balm contains our signature Skin Rocks scent.

Is The Cleansing Balm suitable for those with sensitive skin?

Yes. Both versions of The Cleansing Balm have undergone a clinically controlled patch test to assess irritation potential. If you are sensitive, you may prefer to opt for the fragrance-free version. However, as always, we recommend carrying out a patch test prior to introducing any new products to your routine if you have particularly reactive skin.

Is The Cleansing Balm packaging recyclable?
