How long did I test it for?

I first picked up some O’Keeffe’s Foot Cream in the States a few years ago for Mr Hirons, who has Type 1 diabetes and suffers from the dry skin associated with it. We’ve had the products in the house ever since so maybe 3/4 years on the initial products and about 6 months for Body Repair. Background?

Unbeknownst to me when I first purchased O’Keeffe’s, Bill O’Keeffe was also a diabetic, who suffered with extremely rough and dry skin on his hands and feet as a result. Fortunately, his daughter Tara is a pharmacist (lucky him) and witnessing the discomfort caused by his chronically dry skin, decided to make something for him. Tara and Bill spent years testing formulations mixed in her kitchen until she developed a product that worked better than all the others he had tried over the years. This was the basic formula for what has become O’Keeffe’s Working Hands and, several years later, O’Keeffe’s for Healthy Feet, O’Keeffe’s Lip Repair and O’Keeffe’s Skin Repair. What’s good about it?

A lot. Clinically proven to provide instant relief, Skin Repair moisturises and protects against dryness for a full 48 hours and lasts even if you shower during that period. It does exactly what it says on the bottle, absorbs well and quickly, and is totally non-greasy meaning you do not have to wait to get dressed, always a must for me. A dry, (especially itchy) skin, usually means a compromised skin barrier, something that Skin Repair helps to address by not only sealing-in moisture, but by drawing moisture down into the skin. The protective barrier is clinically proven to seal in that moisture for up to 48 hours, reducing the rate of evaporation, thus offering relief and protection. On the cosmetic side, it is also unscented, causing no conflict with any fragrance you plan to wear.
