Skin Rocks x The Handbook Giveaway November 2024

Terms and Conditions
  1. The promoter is: Skin Rocks Ltd (company no. 11155429) whose registered office is at 5 St Mary Abbots Place, London W8 6LS and The Handbook, 101 The LightBulb, 1 Filament Walk, London, SW18 4GQ.
  2. The prize draw is open to all Skin Rocks & The Handbook entrants aged 18 years or over who have entered their email address on either brands’ landing page, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw. By submitting your email address you are entering the competition and consenting to your email address being shared with both The Handbook and Skin Rocks.
  3. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  4. All entries must be submitted via either The Handbook or Skin Rocks competition landing page.
  5. To enter you must:
    • Follow @thehandbooknews and @skinrocks
    • Like the Instagram post 
    • Tag a friend in the comments once you’re done.
  6. The opening date for entries is 1st November 2024.
  7. The closing date of the prize draw is Midnight BST on 8th November 2024. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
  8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully submitted owing to a technical fault, computer hardware or software failure, network or server failure of any kind.
  9. A winner will be chosen by random draw, performed by an automated computer process on 9th November 2024, after the competition closing time.
  10. The winner will receive the ultimate selection of Skin Rocks gifts, worth over £250, including:
    • Skin Rocks The Bookends Set (choice of Fragranced or Fragrance Free)
    • Skin Rocks Resurface & Support Duo (choice of Retinoid 1 or Retinoid 2)

  11. The winner will be notified by DM before 10th November 2024.
  12. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 2 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  13. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 
  14. The prizes are supplied by the promoter subject to the winner supplying a valid address for delivery.
  15. The winner's prizes will be shipped via our chosen carrier, we are not responsible for the prize once dispatched and if shipping internationally, will not be responsible for any duties incurred. 
  16. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 
  17. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries to anyone who emails sydney@thehandbook.com enclosing a self-addressed envelope within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter in such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  18. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  19. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the The Handbooks's privacy policy & Skin Rocks Privacy Policy at https://skinrocks.com/pages/privacy-policy.
  20. Skin Rocks and The Handbook reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
  21. The prize draw will be governed by English law. Entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
