Possibly acne/allergy/troubling for some ingredients? fragrance
Suitable for pregnancy? Yes
Natural? Organic? Man made? Vegan? Man-made, vegetarian
Tested on animals in home country/EU/sold in territories that require testing? Unsure. It makes no mention of it anywhere on the packaging, but if it's sold in doors in China then that's a yes. If anyone knows for sure let me know and I'll update the post. Thanks! How does it smell? Fresh, very light. Pleasant.
How do you use it? Apply after serums and under SPF. Less is more. Apply once, then add more as needed.
Can it be taken around the eyes? Yes.
Best for winter or summer? Both. It's hydrating but light enough to use over am oil-based serum if you're particularly dry.
How long did I test it for? I've had it a month or so.
How much is it? /Size/Approximate cost per usage? $38.00 for 50ml. Should last a good few months, less if used twice a day.
Works well with? Any serums I've used so far have been fine with this. I've used oil-based, silicone-based and water-based. All good.
What’s the website like? Not great. It's Korean-facing (understandably) with the option of English which doesn't seem to be working - even with Java, Google, anything and everything enabled.
How’s the distribution? Available freely or limited? Sephora in the US and 'Rhymes with Glamazon' in the UK - although that is third party so I wouldn't. What’s good about it? I love this moisturiser. It's light, yet hydrating, soothing and softening and goes over anything. Another one that is Stef's fault. She's a dirty enabler. We hit Sephora and she more or less put it in my hand and said 'Buy. This.'. I'm glad she did. I have the Aqua Bomb, but actually prefer this one. It's more moisturising, for me anyway. It is clinically tested to provide up to 26 hours of moisture release, and includes a blend of apothecary herbs, including comfrey leaf from Napiers, which was a surprise to me. A Scottish herbalist in a Korean moisturiser. Lovely. The cream is designed to 'burst' when applied, releasing the moisture onto the skin, similar to some of the other products listed below. It then absorbs fairly quickly. Skin stays nicely moisturised throughout the day.
What’s not so good about it? The level of silicone, while not too much, is still enough to make the product 'roll' if you are too heavy-handed with it. Less is more. Distribution sucks. Which is a compliment if you think about it.
Would I purchase/repurchase? Yes.
Do you need it? Yes, in a word. I'd recommend to pretty much anyone.
