You may remember a little over a year ago, I did a 'What to Buy?' from Tata Harper. In that post (here), I wrote about the Boosted Contouring Eye Mask and how I loved the product, but the packaging wasn't up to speed. The product was so thick that it wouldn't squeeze out of the tube, and in the end the tube split and I had to decant it into multiple small Muji pots. Fast forward a year and Tata have repackaged the balm in a pot, much more suitable for application.

What's not in it?
'nasties'. Tata is a green brand. Possibly acne/allergy/troubling for some ingredients? Not really. Nothing jumps out. Suitable for pregnancy/breastfeeding? Yes. Natural? Organic? Man made? Vegan? Organic/Vegan Tested on animals in home country/EU/sold in territories that require testing? No/No/No How does it smell? Divine. That shouldn't matter, but it does. It smells of Tata's best 'green'ness, if you've ever smelt her products, you'll know what I mean. How do you use it? Apply either as a mask or as and when i.e. traveling, after a long shift, when you're driving long distances and your eyes feel tight, whenever you need the boost. Best for winter or summer? Either. How long did I test it for?
I've had it for a couple of years, a few months in the new packaging.
How much is it? /Size/Approximate cost per usage?
£91/$120 for 15ml.
Works well with?
You can use this over/under any other product.
What’s the website like?
Lovely. Loads of info, loads of content. A good read. TataHarperskincare.com How’s the distribution? Available freely or limited? Space NK, Cult Beauty, Sephora, Nordstrom etc, although I could only find this new one online via Net. What’s good about it? I love Tata's Restorative Eye Cream, I've used it for years and always use it down to the last drop. This is thicker, a balm texture and suited more to dryer eyes, fine lines and wrinkles, and areas of dark dehydration. You don't need it if you're young and have no problems with your eyes. If you're older/travel a lot/work in dry atmospheres etc, it's worth checking out. I am still travelling with the ones I decanted from the split tube last year. It's immediately softening and ensures makeup application is a dream.
What’s not so good about it?
It's expensive and it's in a jar, and it's organic so buy it if you know you love it and you will work your way through it. Would I purchase/repurchase? Yes, if my eyes were sore and I was travelling a lot.
Do you need it?
Yes, if you can afford it and your eyes are your main concern. Otherwise, no.
