AD | My L’Occitane Skincare Favourites
L’Occitane has long featured in my empties, and there’s a reason why. The products are the perfect mix of gorgeous French skincare and complex formulas. It’s impossible to pick just a handful of favourites, as there are so many lush products but I’ve given it a good go! Here are some of my favourite products from L’Occitane.
Cleansing Milk Facial Make-up Remover, 200ml £19.50
This cleansing milk is suitable for all skin types and gently removes even stubborn and waterproof make-up effectively. Infused with organic fig and honey from Provence, the silky smooth texture leaves my skin feeling comfortable and not stripped. I use two pumps and rinse with a warm flannel.
Oil-To-Milk Facial Make-up Remover, 200ml £19.50
Another great cleanser for all skin types, the oil-to-milk formulation emulsifies into a silky oil to remove every scrap of makeup and dirt. It’s infused with immortelle from Corsica, which is shown to be beneficial for mature skins, and added calendula flowers from the south of France to help to soothe the skin. I like to use this as a first cleanse, using 2-3 pumps and removing with a warm flannel.
Aqua Réotier Fresh Moisturising Mist, 50ml £15
This mist is gorgeously hydrating and refreshing on the skin. Formulated with Réotier spring water and hyaluronic acid, it’s a great mist for all skins to hydrate and energise the skin. I like to keep mine in the fridge for an extra refreshing boost as and when I need it.
Immortelle Divine Cream, 50ml £79
This is L’Occitane’s bestselling product in the UK, and once you have used it, you will see why. Created with Immortelle Super Exract to help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, this moisturiser is also packed with deeply hydrating Immortelle Essential Oil to leave the skin supple, firm and radiant. Apply all over the face and of course, take it down the neck.
Immortelle Precious Energising Eye Balm, 15ml £39
This eye cream is not only lovely to use but has a complex formula to help reduce the look of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. The Dynamic Hyaluronic Acid Complex combines hyaluronic acid with silicon – a mineral that acts as a carrier, taking the hyaluronic acid deeper into the epidermis, resulting in comfortably hydrated skin. Immortelle essential oil helps cells to mature, so skin can renew itself faster, resulting in more youthful-looking skin.
Immortelle Divine Youth Oil, 15ml £45
This oil contains a blend of 3 Immortelle extracts: one to help boost collagen synthesis, one to act as an antioxidant and protect against external aggressors (pollution) and one to help nourish the skin. A beautifully complicated formula, which helps lines to appear reduced and skin to appear brighter. This oil is suitable for all skin types. I like to use mine as the last step in my PM routine, and if I “accidentally” dispense too much (let’s be honest I do it on purpose) I like to take it down my neck, rubbing any excess on my elbows.
