Describe the brand in three words. Small. Trustworthy. USA.

Works well with? Jordan recommends using after his Hydrate serum or mixed with other moisturisers, or layered.
What’s the website like? Lovely. Just had a refurb, lists ingredients, has further information.
How’s the distribution? Available freely or limited? Currently only available online via jordansamuelskin.com because retailers are slow and don't follow the skincare addicts on Instagram closely enough. ;) In a social media world where people who have never put their hands on skin and have no qualifications are called 'experts', let's give a special shoutout to the aestheticians (and Doctors, but that goes without saying) who work their arses off behind the scenes, without huge social followings and just put the hours in, day in, day out. Jordan is firmly in that group. See also: Teresa Tarmey, Nichola Joss, Marie Reynolds, Andy Millward, Kate Kerr, Abigail James, Amanda Lacey, Debbie Thomas and this list for further info: getthegloss.com/find-an-expert
What’s good about it? A lovely gentle oil that doubles up as an antioxidant and moisturiser. More nourishing than some retinol products, this one works while you sleep leaving skin soft and comfortable, not red and angry. There is very little chance of you getting dermatitis after using this. A 0.2% retinol (2%of a 10% solution) encased in good oils, it's gentle without aggression. Perfect for first-timers or those that simply want progression in their routine without having to hide for two weeks while they peel like an onion.
What’s not so good about it? Nothing. Jordan makes great products that are efficacious. It's hard to find someone saying a bad word about them/him online/Instagram.
Would I purchase/repurchase? Yes
Do you need it? If you're looking for a good new retinol that is mild and will not disturb the balance of your skin, yes.
