This one is the fault of Amanda Bell.
She knows how obsessed I am with coconut and when we were in LA earlier this year she introduced me to this in Sephora.
One swipe on the back of my hand, a quick whiff and it went in my basket.
I've only ever used Marc Jacobs blushers prior to this, but it has become a firm favourite and I bought a backup when I went back to NY last month. It contains five variations of coconut (juice/pulp etc) and is like applying cashmere to your skin. I'd say this is for you if you have a slightly dryer skin, or are a bit older.
I'm sure this is aimed at a younger demographic (aren't they all), but there is no way someone like Ava or even a 20-odd year old would use this if they had a stereotypical combination skin. It's not heavy at all, but it is moisturising.
Inci: Water, C14-22 Alkane, Dicaprylyl Ether, Butylene Glycol, Coconut Alkanes, Polysilicone-11, Polyglyceryl-10 Mono/Dioleate, Polyglyceryl-3 Oleate, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Glycerin, Cyclopentosilaxone, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water, Glyceryl Caprylate, Dimethicone, Squalane, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl Undecylenate, Lecithin, Laureth-12, Gellan Gum, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Juice, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydrated Silica, Disodium Phosphate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Sodium Phosphate, Tocopherol, Linalool
It works beautifully underneath my Hourglass Illusion foundation (I did buy the matching Marc Jacobs foundation but haven't tested that fully yet) and certainly elongates my overall makeup.
It's a fully breathable formula, and I feel no silicone when I use it. I'm only annoyed that I didn't buy the Coconut Gel Highlighter.. Highly recommend.
It's part of the permanent collection and is available now priced $44.00 from Sephora.com and £32.00 from Net-a-Porter.
