The Gentle Acid
An AHA + PHA Exfoliating Acid Toner

About the product:
This gentle acid toner works hard to deliver the power of exfoliation, without the irritation. This sophisticated formula visibly evens skin tone, reduces hyperpigmentation, minimises the appearance of visible pores and refines skin texture, all whilst respecting your skin barrier. Skin-soothing and hydration-boosting actives work in harmony with the acids to moisturise the skin, altogether revealing a hydrated, smooth and radiant complexion with minimal irritation.

The ultimate glow-giver, this acid toner is appropriate for all skin types. The formula contains a combination of exfoliating AHAs, a PHA and antioxidant-rich tropical fruit extracts – leaving your skin gorgeously radiant.
Key ingredients:
Mandelic acid: An AHA that specifically targets hyperpigmentation, helping to achieve even, glowing and more radiant skin.
Lactic acid: A skin-conditioning AHA that visibly smooths the skin, minimising the appearance of fine lines and visible pores whilst boosting hydration.
Gluconolactone: Known to be a gentle alternative to AHAs, this PHA helps to delicately exfoliate the skin whilst increasing hydration and offering antioxidant protection.
Caja, mango and banana extracts: A combination of extracts naturally rich in AHAs that work together to gently buff away old skin cells on the outermost layer of the skin.
Panthenol: A skin-soothing ingredient that complements the acid’s exfoliating action and helps to prevent irritation.
How does it work?
Mandelic acid helps to inhibit the expression of tyrosinase – the enzyme that contributes to hyperpigmentation – working with lactic acid and gluconolactone to gently buff away old cells at the surface of the skin. Skin-soothing and hydration-boosting actives ensure skin is simultaneously conditioned and well-hydrated to achieve gentle exfoliation.

The Control Acid
A 2% BHA + Polylysine Exfoliating Acid Toner

Formulated with breakout-prone and congested skin in mind, this liquid toner works hard to unclog pores and regulate oiliness, targeting the root cause of congestion and controlling it before it occurs. Blended with a range of skin-conditioning ingredients, The Control Acid is so much more than a standard BHA; with redness-reducing and barrier-supporting benefits, this acid toner works to soothe and strengthen the skin whilst simultaneously unclogging pores, leaving skin smoother, clearer and more radiant.

Key ingredients:
Salicylic acid: Decongests the skin/unclogs pores and improves skin texture, promoting smoother, clearer skin.
Polylysine + lemon myrtle: Regulate sebum production whilst maintaining the quality of the skin’s natural oils, helping to protect the skin barrier and minimise shine.
Oligopeptide-10: Works synergistically with salicylic acid to boost its efficacy.
Niacinamide: Regulates the production of sebum (oil) on the skin, in turn reducing the appearance of pores and improving skin texture. Minimises the appearance of redness whilst supporting the skin barrier.
Panthenol and glycerin: Skin-soothing and hydration-boosting ingredients that complement salicylic acid, minimising potential irritation.
How does it work?
The Control Acid works by targeting the root cause of congestion, preventing it before it occurs. Polylysine, lemon myrtle and niacinamide work together to regulate oil production whilst salicylic acid exfoliates the pore lining, decongesting the skin. Oligopeptide-10 helps to boost the efficacy of salicylic acid, maximising results.
