The Cleansing Balm, our most indulgent cleansing experience yet, transforms from a solid balm to a rich, replenishing oil — melting under the warmth of your hands to decimate heavy make-up, sun protection and daily impurities in one swift step; leaving skin soft, smooth, and beautifully comforted. 

A brilliant all-rounder for your first, second or morning cleanse, The Cream Cleanser gently cleanses whilst protecting the skin barrier, and contains a blend of barrier-supporting ingredients including eight amino acids, squalane, and jojoba seed oil to soften the skin and boost hydration.

How to use

Can I use The Double Cleanse Duo daily?

Yes, you can use The Cream Cleanser and The Cleansing Balm daily in your AM and PM routines, whether you alternate between them, choose one particular favourite, or use them both as a first and second cleanse.

Does The Cleansing Balm remove eye makeup?

Yes. The Cleansing Balm is oil-based and will remove all makeup. The balm has also been clinically proven to effectively remove all traces of makeup, including heavy eye makeup. We do recommend that you double cleanse to maximise efficacy.

Can I use The Cream Cleanser around the eyes?

Yes, The Cream Cleanser has been ophthalmologically tested and is clinically proven to be gentle enough for use around the eyes.

Is The Double Cleanse Duo suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The Cream Cleanser has been developed with those prone to sensitivity or dryness in mind. Both the fragranced and fragrance-free formulas have also undergone a clinically controlled patch test to assess irritation potential, and were found to be suitable for all skin types.

Both versions of The Cleansing Balm have undergone a clinically controlled patch test to assess irritation potential. If you are sensitive, you may prefer to opt for the fragrance-free version. However, as always, we recommend carrying out a patch test prior to introducing any new products to your routine if you have particularly reactive skin.

Is The Double Cleanse Duo suitable for vegans?

Yes, The Cream Cleanser and The Cleansing Balm do not contain any animal or animal-derived ingredients.

Is The Double Cleanse Duo cruelty-free?

At Skin Rocks, we do not and never will test our products or ingredients on animals. Neither will we ask or allow any third parties to do so on our behalf. Skin Rocks products are developed to fully comply with relevant cosmetic legislation, including the EU Cosmetic Regulation (Ec. No. 1223/2009), the equivalent UK law (Schedule 34, The Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019)), both of which have made cosmetic animal testing illegal. It is also our company policy not to sell Skin Rocks cosmetic products in any countries that require animal testing in order to enter the market.

Is the packaging for The Double Cleanse Duo recyclable?

The Cream Cleanser cartons and leaflets are fully recyclable in the cardboard/paper stream.

As always, we at Skin Rocks develop with 'formula first' in mind.

On this occasion, we decided that a tube was the most appropriate for this formulation to aid ease of use whilst still providing a premium look and feel. We have done our best to choose a tube that is technically recyclable, provided the country you are in has the appropriate collection/sorting infrastructure for plastic in place. For example, while this is widely the case across the majority of Europe, the UK does not currently have the infrastructure in place to collect and appropriately sort and recycle cosmetic tubes such as this.

Skin Rocks will consistently monitor any updates to this area, and how it may impact our product development process. Please check requirements and capabilities locally before disposal.
