Curated for experienced vitamin A users, The Resurface and Support Duo - Intermediate contains our intermediate strength Retinoid 2 and award-winning The Support Oil. 

Enriched with skin-conditioning squalane and vitamin E, Retinoid 2 contains retinal, a fast-acting, powerful retinoid, plus hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR) to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and breakouts.

Complementing retinoid usage, our rescue-in-a-bottle The Support Oil is formulated with a nourishing blend of botanical actives and oils to reinforce your skin barrier and calm your complexion, altogether leading to smooth, even, radiant skin free from dryness and irritation.

How to use

STEP 1
Retinoid 2
Use in the PM after cleansing, up to 3 times a week. Massage 2-3 pumps onto the face, avoiding the eye area. Allow to absorb before moving on to the next step in your routine.

Initially, we recommend using Retinoid 2 twice a week, gradually building up to 3-4 times per week. If you are currently using an exfoliating acid product, we would recommend you use this and the retinoid in alternate routines.

STEP 2
The Support Oil
Use daily in the AM and/or PM, or as needed. Massage 1-2 pumps onto the face, neck and décolleté as the last stage of your treatment step.

If you are nervous about retinoid usage, you can apply The Support Oil before Retinoid 2 to act as a buffer, slowing down penetration of the retinoid.

Does The Vitamin A Maintenance Set contain fragrance?

As with all products in our TREATMENT category, both products in this set are fragrance free.

Can I use The Vitamin A Maintenance Set daily?

The Support Oil can be used every day, morning and night. However, Retinoid 2 should only be used up to 3 times a week.


Can I use The Vitamin A Maintenance Set with other active ingredients/treatments?

We would recommend you avoid using other actives in the same routine as Retinoid 2. The Support Oil is perfect for use between active treatments or beforehand to act as a buffer. We recommend allowing sufficient time for the product to fully absorb before applying your next product.

You can use other actives on alternate days to your retinoid, but please be sure to incorporate days where your routine focuses solely on hydration.

Is The Vitamin A Maintenance Set cruelty free?

Yes, Skin Rocks is, and will always remain, cruelty free. Skin Rocks does not test products or ingredients on animals, nor do we ask any third parties to do so on our behalf. Skin Rocks products are developed to fully comply with relevant cosmetic legislation, including the EU Cosmetic Regulation (Ec. No. 1223/2009), the equivalent UK law (Schedule 34, The Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019)), both of which have made cosmetic animal testing illegal. It is also our company policy not to sell Skin Rocks cosmetic products in any countries that require animal testing in order to enter the market.

Is The Vitamin A Maintenance Set recyclable?

Retinoid 2:
The pumps for our Retinoid products are not currently recyclable unless dismantled. We encourage you to keep your pump and glass bottle and purchase a refill instead. Once you have finished and would like to recycle your product, rinse and dry out all componentry and please check materials against local requirements.

Carton and leaflet: All paper & card is from a certified FSC source.

The Support Oil:
While the glass bottle, cap, carton and leaflet are readily recyclable, the pump is not and should be removed before recycling. Please check materials against local requirements.
