Get ready to transform your cleansing experience with The Gel Cleanser. This luxurious cleanser transforms from a gel-to-oil-to-milk and is enriched with a fortifying six-oil blend of avocado, jojoba, sunflower, grape, argan and rosehip oils to deeply nourish as it cleanses. The barrier-replenishing formula works without leaving a greasy residue or stripping the skin of its natural oils, making it ideal for every skin type. 

Blended with our Skin Rocks signature light, refreshing scent, The Gel Cleanser melts into the skin to gently break down makeup, SPF and daily impurities. Skin is left soft, smooth, balanced and radiant – and, most importantly, never stripped.

Key ingredients

Jojoba, argan and rosehip seed oils – Skin-softening emollients that help to nourish and hydrate, cleansing the skin whilst helping to replenish sebum levels to keep skin moisturised and protected

Grape seed and avocado oils – Antioxidant-rich oils that help to protect the skin and strengthen the barrier whilst dissolving impurities

Glycerin – A powerful humectant that helps to increase hydration within the skin, keeping it plump and dewy

Ginger root extract and bisabolol – A synergistic blend of soothing actives, helping to calm and care for the skin

Sunflower seed oil – A lightweight, skin-conditioning oil naturally rich in fatty acids and vitamin E that helps to soften and nourish the skin while breaking down dirt and debris

How to use

FAQs

Is The Gel Cleanser a foaming cleanser? Will it strip my skin?

No, The Gel Cleanser is oil-based and does not foam. The formula will transform from a gel to an oil when massaged into the skin, and then a milk if in contact with water. The Gel Cleanser, like all Skin Rocks cleansers in our Cleanse Category, will never strip the skin.

What's the difference between The Cream Cleanser and The Gel Cleanser – which should I choose?

The Cream Cleanser is a conditioning cream cleanser, and The Gel Cleanser is a nourishing gel-to-oil-to-milk cleanser. Both products are suitable for all skin types and can be used as both a first and second cleanse to remove makeup, SPF and daily impurities. In terms of which cleanser is best for you and your skin, this will come down purely to your textural preference.

Is The Gel Cleanser suitable for those with sensitive skin?

Both versions of The Gel Cleanser have undergone a clinically controlled patch test to assess irritation potential. If you are sensitive, you may prefer to opt for the fragrance-free version. However, as always, we recommend carrying out a patch test prior to introducing any new products to your routine if you have particularly reactive skin.

Will The Gel Cleanser remove makeup and SPF?

Yes, The Gel Cleanser is oil-based and therefore works well to remove both SPF and makeup, including eye makeup.

Would The Gel Cleanser be used as a first or second cleanse?

The Gel Cleanser can be used as your first and/or second cleanse, and can be used both AM and PM.
