About the product

A saviour treatment for red, reactive skin, this lightweight, soothing serum helps to quickly reduce visible redness and irritation while facilitating a long-term improvement in the skin’s stress responses.

Clinically tested on all skin tones, this milky serum is formulated with soothing extracts and antioxidants to address and prevent both existing and future flare-ups in reactive skin types. After the first few uses, this product reduces visible redness, moisturises and soothes, and in the long term, helps to reduce skin reactivity and sensitivity.

How to use

Use daily in the AM and/or PM, after cleansing and toning. Apply 2-3 pumps onto the face. Follow with the rest of your routine.

Who is The Support Serum for?

The Support Serum is ideal for those with red, reactive skin types.

What is ‘reactive’ skin?

Reactive skin (often called sensitive skin) is skin that is highly prone to irritation and responsive to stress – e.g., certain skin care products or temperature changes. This is different to compromised skin (often called sensitised skin), which is skin that has a compromised barrier, which is usually characterised by flakiness, dryness, redness and dehydration. To help compromised skin, you need to replenish the skin’s barrier lipids to help reinforce the skin barrier, whereas reactive skin needs calming and soothing actives. However, the two often overlap.

Is The Support Serum suitable for those with sensitive skin?

Yes. The Support Serum is specifically formulated for those with sensitive/reactive skin, to help skin become less sensitive over time.

Where does The Support Serum fit in my routine?

The Support Serum should be used after your other Skin Rocks serums (The Antioxidant/The Hyperpigmentation Serum/Retinoids) and before your moisturiser. If using The Support Serum and The Support Oil, we recommend using The Support Serum in the AM and The Support Oil in the PM.
